How to make a flower crown (the easy way!)

CC-crown 2 We’re all spending more time in gardens and parks lately. Celebrate your green space by dressing in flowers when meeting friends and family outdoors – fun for garden parties and gorgeous photo ops! From specially-made headbands and hair clips to buttonholes and bracelets, we’ve got everything you need to get started. Try creating crowns at home for a garden party piece with friends and family. You will need: • Fresh or artificial flowers and foliage bought or cut from the garden; • Our daisy or rose headband; • Wire; • Florist tape (search to order online). 1. Cut the flower and foliage stems to a few centimetres long, and cut as many pieces of wire to about three times as long. 2. Using the florist tape, bind each stem against a piece of wire. 3. One by one, lay the wired stems against the headband and tightly bind them together using the tape – stretching it slightly to enhance its stickiness. Try to keep all stems and heads pointing in one direction rather than having them crossover. 4. Continue and get creative - you can arrange flowers evenly around the whole band, or just at the front. 5. You can add accessories like butterflies, diamante, pearl, brooches and more.
