Find Out How Florists Are Maximising Their Sales

Here are just a few tips from two Corsage Creations customers showing how they maximise their sales of the Corsage Creations range.

Jennifer Hollingworth from Flowers by Suzanne in Lincoln adds: “This is definitely a profitable line for us. We have a three times mark-up on the items, plus of course the flowers, so it definitely brings in added revenue.” As we all know, one of the secrets of sales success, especially with products such as the ones offered by Corsage Creations, is effective display. Jennifer comments: “We tend to buy in batches of say 20 or 30 corsage bracelets, which we then display in the shop on the display bar we receive free of charge because we’re spending over £100. Customers are genuinely surprised when they see them and then if they’re after different colours we’ll show them the Corsage Creations catalogue. For me, the best thing is that after the event, a great keepsake and reminder is left behind after the flowers have been removed.”

Caroline Price from the Orchid Room in Wickford, Essex. Caroline says: “I’m impressed by the products Corsage Creations offer, both in terms of quality – every item I've used has been extremely well made – and the range of choice. I actually show brides the Corsage Creations catalogue and they love looking through, picking up ideas they would never have thought of otherwise.” In terms of trends, Caroline says that, thanks to working with Corsage Creations and being able to offer different ideas, there’s a real change in choices of accessories for weddings. “We’re definitely seeing a shift away from traditional corsages to items such as bracelets, especially with the mothers of the brides who like the convenience of a wrist corsage that won’t get damaged with all of the hugging and kissing! Pearl or diamante adorned bracelets or anything with a vintage style are hugely popular and you can understand why – they look great! By stocking the products I've definitely generated new sales opportunities.”
